JustJohn FC Unveils, Explains Why Club Nurtures Young Grassroot Talents
The Management of JustJohn Football Club Limited, on Thursday unveiled the club officially, explaining why they are focusing primarily on young grassroot talents who are ready to build their careers in football.
JustJohn Football Club, a 2-year old football club is co-owned by two brothers, namely Oyeleye Olanrewaju Johnson and Oyeleye Abimbola Justus from Owo in Ondo State, Southwest, Nigeria.
Speaking at a media briefing organised by the Club in Ota, Ogun State to officially launch the club, the owners said that, their main vision is to help the young talents realise their dreams and build their career in football, particularly the grassroot players.
They emphasised that, most clubs in Nigeria fail due to bad management strategy but assured that, with their own plans, their club will make a difference.
According to them, JustJohn which started from the scratch has no reason to fail and that the club is a privilege for them to make impact on the young players.
“JustJohn Club was started from the scratch and we have grassroot team. We see the club as a privilege for us to make impact on the young talents. Due to our philanthropic posture, we have been able to achieve all the things we have done in our two years of existence”.

With the compassion and commitment they have, the management of JustJohn FC believes strongly that, there will be no reason for the club to have killed talents and also for the young ones not to get to the top of their careers.
On why the club was established in first place, the owners who were professional footballers, both locally and internationally said that, they set up the club, not because of money but due to the passion they have for the young talents.
“Our main vision is to help the young talents. Take them to Europe and better countries so that they build their careers”, they emphasised.
Explaining how they can sustain the existence of the club, the owners said “one is the coaches and we have two that are very disciplined. They are worthy to handle the players. We have contacts outside the countries in Africa and Europe. We are contacting all the football agents that we know to merge our team together. We are trying to make them play football trials outside the country for them to develop themselves more. It is all about discipline because you must be disciplined before we allow you to go. The players that we groomed are very important to us. We have the plans of scouting players from secondary schools and surrounding schools from Ogun State and beyond”.

OGSFA Approves JustJohn Football Club as Affiliate




Ogun State apex soccer body, the Ogun State Football Association (OGSFA) has admitted Just John Football club as a bonafide affiliate of the association.
Recall that OGSFA is affiliated to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) which is the driving force behind the nation’s football excellence, established to promote, organize, and develop the sport in the country.
The approval was conveyed to the club in a letter to Just John FC, dated 12th February, 2024 and signed by Secretary of OGSFA, Elder Victor O Idowu.
Congratulating Just John FC, the letter stated "In reference to the letter dated 12th February, 2024 requesting to affiliate with Ogun State Football Association " I am directed to convey the approval of your club to operate as an affiliate in the state for the year 2024 and of which you are to always pay an annual dues every year of your existence".
"We therefore, believe that with your existence with OGSFA, you will expedite your quota for the development of sports in Ogun State".
"While welcoming your success, stay in the football family, please accept our warm existing sports regards", the letter added.
With this new development, Just John FC, a leading football club in Ogun State has joined the league of the State Association affiliates, giving it an edge further.
Also with this elevation, Just John FC will also enjoy some of the benefits derivable from identifying with both OGSFA and NFF, which are committed to nurturing talent, promoting fair play, and fostering sportsmanship in the Nigerian Football and other countries.
